I've "rescued" an old photograph of Lawrence & Virgil WRIGHT which was taken at the Harnish Studio in Noblesville, Indiana. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with the two young children likely about 2-5 years old at the time. In addition to their names someone has also written "Cousins of mine" and "Aunt Emma's boys in Indiana" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research and thanks to the help of a WRIGHT Family Researcher I was able to locate the family in the 1900 census living in Adams, IN. Census records provide the following information: John C. WRIGHT, age 45 Susan E. WRIGHT, wife, age 37 Virgil W. WRIGHT, son, age 7 Lawrence B. WRIGHT, son, age 5 Angeline JACKSON, Mother-in-Law, age 58, widow In 1910, the family is still living in Adams, IN with census records indicating the following: John C. WRIGHT, age 55, married 30 years, b. IN, parents b. IN, Farmer Susan A. WRIGHT, wife, age 47, married 30 years, 2 children/both living, b. IN, parents b. IN, Housewife Virgil WRIGHT, son, age 17, b. IN, Farm Laborer Lawrence WRIGHT, son, age 15, b. IN, Farm Laborer Amelia JACKSON, Mother-in-Law, age 68, 5 children/4 living, b. IN, parents b. NC In 1920 the children have moved from the household and the census records the following WRIGHT Families in Adams, IN: John C. WRIGHT, age 65, b. IN, parents b. IN, Small Farmer Susan E. WRIGHT, wife, age 57, b. IN, parents b. IN Angeline JACKSON, mother-in-law, age 77, widowed, b. IN, parents b. NC Lawrence B. WRIGHT, age 25, b. IN, parents b. IN Elizabeth A. WRIGHT, wife, age 26, b. IN, parents b. IN Eugene S. WRIGHT, son, age 4, b. IN, parents b. IN Allie J. WRIGHT, dau, age 5 mon, b. IN, parents b. IN Virgil W. WRIGHT is located in Center, IN during the 1920 census living with his in laws, records indicate: Benjamin F. GREEN, age 66, b. WV, parents b. WV Louisa GREEN, age 59, b. IN, parents b. IN Virgil W. WRIGHT, son-in-law, age 27, b. IN, parents b. IN, Meats Merchant Lizzie B. WRIGHT, dau, age 28, b. IN, parents b. VW and IN Warren WRIGHT, grandson, age 1 yr. 8 mon., b. IN, parents b.
