Dear Green Researchers: Thanks to all of you who responed to my inquiry about an e-mail request for research help from an unknown person. Within 24 hours, with much help from a number of you, I determined that it was a perfectly legitimate inquiry, and was sent to me on the basis of my name being (properly) associated with a database in which the names of the people she was interested in can be found. I hearby offer my sincere public apologies to Carol Welch, and hope that I didn't cause her embarrassment with my inquiry. I have already begun researching the family of Edwards Whipple Green, and have been able to find birth records for eight of his children with Mary Whitney (which family I am researching) in the Vital Records of Grafton, Worcester, MA. I have also been able to identify his parents as Stephen and Sophie Parker Green, and expect to be able to do further digging on them. He also married a second wife about a year after Mary Whitney Green died in 1851, but I haven't gotten to that family yet. Thanks again to all the nice people from this list who responded to my posting. Sincerely, Allan E. Green
