    3. Melinda, Her email was buried in the original message sent by Allan It is Cawelch98@att.net I will have to check on my Green info and will respond offline when I get through Mother's day:-) I have just started on the Green line so I am not sure about the county. It may have been misspelled or it could be another state. I don't think whoever wrote it could speak or write Dutch well enough to get it correct. Even I have trouble with it and I lived out there and am half-Dutch. :-) Eric BTW, I will try to locate some pictures of Greens I have from 1890's. They may not be related but someone might be interested. > -----Original Message----- > From: CootyDo@aol.com [mailto:CootyDo@aol.com] > Sent: Sunday, May 08, 2005 8:47 AM > To: GREEN-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [GREEN] Re: Anna GREEN, 1821 Rensaellar Co., NY > > > Hello, Eric, > > Do you have contact information for Carol, the Edwards Whipple GREEN > researcher who is also researching DREW in NH? 3. This Rensselaer County is most likely the one in New York between Albany and the VT/MA state line. Quite a number of my Green(e) ancestors settled in Berlin (Hoosick), Rensselaer County, NY or passed through on their migration from Rhode Island to Oswego County, New York. Just for fun I once checked the phone listings for Berlin and found a large number of Green(e)s still living there.
