Did you say Burwell Green married to Frances Gilliam? Any more information on this set of Greens? Was their a Blake connection or a De Bery connection you know of? Ken >> Hi Ken, There are several Burwell Greens, and the one I was posting was said to have married Ann Poythress. This Burwell Green had a sister, Susannah Green born about 1700, that married William Gilliam, who is mentioned as a brother-in-law of Peter Green. From what information I have collected, all these siblings, Burwell Green, Susannah Green, and Peter Green were the sons of Lewis Green born about 1639 who lived in the part of Prince George County, VA. that became Surry County. I do not believe this Lewis Green was the one who was attacked by the bear, we were discussing last week. That Lewis Green apparently married Elizabeth Lauderdale. I am most interested in any corrections or additions you can provide. Tom Green
