I would be happy to see if I can help you with the Stroud line. Could you give me some names to start with >> Hi Krys, Yes, I recall that we talked before, and I have a little info on a Ruth Green, but no connection with George Parsons. You probably know that Ruth Green, born August 18, 1751 in Groton, Ma. married Ephriam Lawrence on May 25, 1776. Ruth was the daughter of William Green and his wife Ruth Colburn. Ephriam Lawrence was the son of Peleg Lawrence and I have seen the name "Peleg" in some Green families. Hope this helps you in some way. My William Green mentioned Peter Stroud in his pension application, and a Peter Stroud married Rebecca Green, born September 2, 1791. I don't think this was the same Peter Stroud, but probably the same family. Rebecca Green Stroud was the daughter of Elijah Green born about 1752 probably in Ireland, and he was PROBABLY the brother of my William Green, born February 6, 1762 in Prince Edward County, VIrginia. Rebecca Green Stroud had a sister called Rosie Green who also married John Stroud, born 1785, and he was the brother of Peter Stroud. Peter and John Stroud were the son of Jesse and Naomi Stroud, and the father of Jesse was named Peter Stroud, born before 1737, who was probably the Peter Stroud mentioned in the pension application of my William Green. Hope this helps, Tom Green
