Robin, Hi! I am a descendant of Asa Green (1808-1868) and 1st wife Isabelle Burgess (they were my 3rd gr. grandparents). Asa is buried here in Jackson Co., AL in McAnelly Cemetery. He was married 1st Isabelle Burgess in 1830, 2nd Eliza Childress in 1834, 3rd Annette Sartin 1850, 4th Ellender Rossen in 1856. He fathered a total of 13 children. I understand that he came to Alabama from up around Nashville, TN. Would love to exchange info with you or anyone else on this family, I haven't been able to get past Asa in Tennessee, either.
