I have a Willis GREEN in my line, but no dates/locations. I have him married to an Elizabeth ?????. Willis had a son, Asa GREEN who was married to Harriet BRUCE. I have no dates/locations. Asa and Harriett had a son, George Madison GREEN who was married to Martha Emmaline (Emma) SANDLIN. I have that George was born in Limestone Co. AL on August 28, 1833(?). He died and is buried in Abilene, TX. George and Emma were married on August 28 (or 29), 1888 in Limestone Co. AL. I believe the birth year for George to be incorrect, as my mother remembers him well (she was born in 1926). George is my great-grandfather. I would appreciate any information anyone has on my elusive GREENS: Willis and Asa. I have noticed several GREENS with these names, but have been unable to make any connections. Hopefully someone with more information and knowledge of these GREENS can help knock down some walls. I will gladly share any information I have on George's descendants with others.
