Greetings all: I have posted some of this before.. I ,like my cousin Ann keeping posting what little the two of us know to upturn the rock that are ancestors appear to have crawled out of... I often say our family must have been hatched.. But with meeting Ann on the Net.. and between us we have found that at least the Helms did not crawl out from under a rock... I found this Adelia Greene but the e-mail address for the person no longer worked.. Does anyone on this list have any information on this line of Green's and where the are from... Adelia Greene dau. of Leland Greene and Nancy Wilmarth Leland Greene the Son of James Greene born about 1768 Wife unknown James Greene Son of Wardwell Greene and Ann Greene Wardwell Greene son of James Greene born in 1685 and Rebecca Cahoon born 1702 Ann Greene dau of Robert Greene and Mary Andrews.. Unable to find out where this all comes from... Also since Ann mentioned it... Were there Green's in Greensburgh? If so who? Was this town settled by Green's? The reason I ask this is because Charles and Adelia's daughter Mary Elizabeth, remarked that our ancestor's came from a town which was named for them... I always thought it was Helmsville, then I found that it was in NC.. so my searching placed me in the wrong state.. Could Greensburgh be the place? Any help would be appreciated.. I did try to find out more on the Peter Green line and was unable to tie anything in there.. but I may have been looking in the wrong place.. Thanks all, Wanda
