HI There is no doubt that Mary GREEN, wife of Rev Abraham SLOOT, b Grantham, Lincoln co ON 1787(md Grantham, Lincoln co ON 1807), was the daughter of UEL John GREEN and his wife Sylvia CADMAN, dau of UEL William CADMAN. See Reid's "Sons and Daughters......." I have found much information on these GREEN and CADMAN families. I have found that they lived during the Rev War in Lennox and Addington co. Maybe coincidence, and maybe not, that Michael SLOOT, UEL also lived in Lennox and Addington co during the Rev War. The GREEN and CADMAN families were in at various times the townships of Adolphustown, Ernestown and Fredricksburgh, all in Lennox and Addington co. So far, I have Michael SLOOT only in Adolphustown. Another geographical coincidence is that SLOOT(Michael, Elias and Abraham) made petitions to the Council at Newark, Ontario in the late 1700's. I understand one need not live in Newark area to petition the Council there. I am interested to see if anyone can establish more connections between the GREEN or CADMAN families and the Michael SLOOT/Peter RUTTAN families. Thank you so much for any help.
