    3. Hello Everyone. After reading Carolyn's message I tend to agree with her. My family for the past 100 years have always thought Gruen was our original name. I was always told Gruen was German for Green. Does anyone know of Virginia Greens, around 16 to 1800, who's name was Gruen before the change to Green?
