    3. Martha, this may just be a coincidence, but interesting none the less. Recent information I received, indicates that my ancestors { Sarah GREEN and Sanders TAYLOR,} were parents of a child named Burkitt, b 1808. All I know about Sarah is that she was born in NC, lived in MS, and died in Memphis, TN. Please keep me in mind if you find any possible connection.{ This particular family was notorious for using surnames for their children, as were other families during this period.} Good Luck,and welcome to the list. This is a great group, and even though I haven't been able to make a connection {yet.} it's because I lack enough information on my Green line.Hopefully, I'll eventually get a break.
