Thomas "Seagull" Green was born at sea in 1635 while his parents, Thomas and Martha Green were coming to America on the ship, Speedwell from Rotterdam, Holland, and he married Martha Filmer in Virginia. They did have a son named Thomas Green, born about 1665, who married Elizabeth Marson, born November 25, 1672, but I have not seen that his middle name was "Abner" but that is certainly a possibility because one of his grandsons was named Abner Green, born 1762. The Thomas Marston Green you mentioned above, was born November 19, 1723, and was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Marston Green mentioned above. He married, on November 21, 1752 Martha Wills, born March 31, 1734, and their children were: (1) Elizabeth Marston Green, born October 21, 1753, who married Martha Kirkland; (2) Henry Filmer Green, born November 11, 1755; (3) Thomas Marston Green, Jr. born February 26, 1758, died February 7, 1815; (4) Anthony Green, born January 1, 1760; (5) Abner Green born January 21, 1762 who married Martha Hutchins; (6) Martha Wills Green born December 25, 1763 who married Cato West; (7) Ann Haywood Green born December 17, 1765; (8) Henry Marston Green born November 8, 1767 who married Jane Davidson; (9) Elias Green born October 9, 1769; (10) Filmer Wills Green, born April 6, 1772; (11) Abraham Green, born September 26, 1774; and (12) Everard Green, born April 15, 1776, died March 10, 1813, who married Elizabeth Kirkland and second wife Ann last name unknown. That is about all I have on this generation, and there may be some errors in this data.
