Hello all...I am posting a bunch of Greenes, who went from RI>NY>OH>MO, so you might want to check them carefully and see if any missing Greenes appear. I was able to collect this information from the Washington County, Ohio Genealogy library in Marietta, Ohio, which was the first organized settlement in the Northwest Territory. A number of Rhode Islanders settled there in the late 1700s, including Greenes from both John the Surgeon Greene and John Green of Quidnessett lines. Duty Green descended from John of Quidnessett (John, John, John, John of Quid).
