In a message dated 98-10-31 17:33:29 EST, you write: << Hi, Regarding the Clay, Green connections you speak of, I have Marston, William and John unconnected to any wives. Does amy one have this family? >> Hi Ken, I thought I would answer this portion of your message seperately, as I am not sure which people you are talking about. There was a Marston Green, born about 1730 who was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Marston Green. He married Elizabeth Apperson December 19, 1766, and were the parents of Col. Grief Green. The names "William" and "John" are so common, I don't know where to begin. Thomas "Seagull" Green and his wife Martha Filmer did have a son named John Green, born about 1683, who married Elizabeth Last Name Unknown. I believe that every son and grandson had sons named William and John Green, so the confusion becomes more complicated. Hope this helps. Tom Green
