Ken >> Hi Ken, You are certainly correct about confusion in the Thomas "Seagull" Green family, especially the dates! It is my understanding that Thomas "Seagull" Green was born on board the ship, "Speedwell" as it was coming to America from Holland in 1639. One of his sons was William Green, born about 1705, who married Amey Clay. Amey Clay was the daughter of Henry Clay and Mary Mitchell, and two of Amey's brothers, Henry and Charles Clay married sisters, Lucy and Martha Green, who were the daughters of Thomas Green, born about 1665, and his wife Elizabeth Marston. This Thomas Green, born about 1665, was a brother of the William Green that married Amey Clay. I hope this helps in some way. Tom Green
