I talked to my sister in Bakersfield, CA last night and she told me of one GREEN we were supposedly related to that I had forgotten. Her name was Hetty(Hettie) GREEN. The family story goes that she was extremely wealthy and somewhat of a recluse who actually allowed her son to die because she would not call a doctor. How much of these stories are true or not is always questionable. But Hettie was a real person of that we are sure. My grandmother stated she had met her on a couple occasions.
