Hi Tom, I saw your reply to Rosemary regarding the children of John "Moccasin' Green(e). My files pretty much agree with what you posted except: 1. I show Nathan Green(e) b. 1800; d. 1840; as the son of Jeremiah Green(e) & Mary "Polly' Wiseman. 2. I show 3 additional children for John "Moccasin" that you don't show: Aaron Green(e); b. abt. 1801; n. Annie Buchanan. Isabella Green(e); b. August 17, 1803; d. February 20, 1874 in Burke Co, NC; m. James Buchanan. Arthur Green(e); b. abt. 1797 in Watauga Co, NC; d. April 22, 1882 in Bear Creek, NC; m. Nancy Sparks abt. 1819; b. February 2, 1802; d. 1877. Maybe John Hawkins or another researcher will weight in and straighten us out on this family. I'm pretty sure that, info I saw from John Hawkins, indicates that Nathan is not the son of John :Moccasin. As for the 3 children that I have that you don't, I lack any documentation.
