Still trying to find parents (or siblings) of Ella M. GREEN. b. Sept. 4, 1861 (who knows where!... I've heard possibly Iowa,...) m. Daniel Lionel HILTON (son of Delorval Hartman HILTON & Nancy WEED) d. March 17, 1952 Custer, SD buried, Custer, SD Would like to find ANY kind of connection...Parents, Siblings, Grandparents,... I sent for death certificates on Ella and Daniel (fr. State of SD) and they contain errors regarding their parents. Evidentally the children that reported the death Info. for the coroner didn't know their grandparents names. So...I have tried to find an obit. for Ella M. GREEN through the State Archives Dept., Local Newspapers that were in business during this period, as well as enlisting the help of a Genealogy researcher at the State Library and we come up with Zilch! Nada! I have done just about all that I can think of to find her parents. Maybe some of you GREEN/E cousins can ask around...maybe ask some of your elderly GREEN/E family members if they had ever heard of a GREEN/E marrying into the HILTON family? I would greatly appreciate any help I can get! Some of the places that Ella M. GREEN/E lived are: Omro, Wisconsin (at least 1 of her kids born there) Albert Lea, Minn. (owned photo gallery there) Ramona, S.D. (husband D.L. HILTON may have been J.O.P there) New Underwood, SD (husband Daniel L. HILTON buried there) Custer, SD (Ella died and buried there.) Other possible places of residence for her: Deadwood, SD Sioux City, Iowa (son James ["Jack"] E. HILTON was Barber there & married there) Albion, Wis(many of Ella GREEN/Es inlaws {Mr/Mrs D.H.
