Rosemary >> Hi Rosemary, You have probably received several replies to your above message, but just in case not, I will post the children I have for John "Moccasin" Green. 1. Silas Green born aobut 1810, married Susan ( ? ). 9, Daniel Green born about 1814, married Eleanor ( ? ). 10. Jesse Green born about 1815, married Morning ( ? ). 11. Eleanor Green born about 1815. 12. Thomas Green born about 1823, married Sarah ( ? ). To my knowledge, it has not been proven that John "Moccasin" Green born about 1772, was the son of Richard Green, born about 1740, who married Eleanor Sullivan in about 1796, but that is how I have entered him in my computer. I do show that Richard Green was the son of Jeremiah Green, born about 1705 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and his wife Joanna "Hannah" Hunt who died in 1789. This Jeremiah Green was the son of Judge William Green, born about 1671 in England, and his wife Joanna Reeder who he married in 1692, and Jeremiah was the one that came to North Carolina and settled in what was then called Jersey Settlement on the Yadkin River. Judge William Green built the first brick home in the area in about 1717, and the home still stands on the campus of Trenton College. Judge William Green died June 16, 1722 and his grave in marked and known today. I hope this helps you in come way. Good Luck in your search! Tom Green
