Hi Green members, Over the holidays, we had to make an unexpected trip to GA and I had an opportunity to do a little research. I checked the 1870 GA census, Chatham County, City of Savannah, Ga. I found this William Greene family from Ireland and I am wondering if any of you have this family and any information on it. Many many years ago, my father told me that a William Greene connected to my dad's family moved to GA. I should have also checked the 1880 census, but my time was very limited. Here is the family that I am wondering if he belongs to us. Greene, William, age 43, Miller ??, born in Ireland and parents b. Ireland. Margaret, age 41, k.h., born in Ireland and parents b. in Ireland Charles age 15, at school, b. GA Henry ??, age 13, at school, b. GA George, age 11, twin, at school, b. GA Robert, age 11, twin, at school, b. GA Willie, age 8, b. GA ?? (can't make out spelling) age 5, b. GA Sally, age 7, b. GA Fanny Solomon, domestic servant, age 21 Since my grandfather was a twin and these people are from Ireland, I really wonder if they are connected to me. Does anyone have any information on this family???? I really would appreciate any information anyone may have. Also this William was the only William on census from Ireland. Hope to hear from someone who has some information. Thank you and Happy New Year. Sally
