My great-grandmother was Fanny Louise GREEN, 1859 -1959, b. in Dunnville, Ontario, Canada. She always claimed she was a descendant of Charles GREEN who entered the Niagara area in 1786 and settled on Lundy's Lane. I have recently been told that this is true, but I'm not 100% sure I have the lineage straight in my mind. I think her father may have been Marcene GREEN, ca. 1830 - 1909, his father being Charles GREEN, b. 1796, and his father was Charles GREEN who settled in 1786. Does anyone know anything about this?
