Hi ! I'm new to the list and am hoping someone will be able to help me with this. I have a biography written by my GGG Grandfather Jesse Mercer Greene. In it he says his father is William Washington Green, grandfather is Amos Greene. He goes on to say that Amos' Father is Richard Greene - the son of Gen Nathaniel Greene. I have heard that Gen Nathaniel Greenes direct line daughtered out, so I don't know that this could be true. Can anyone help me? Carrie (Green) Mongillo
