My GG Grandparents were John Wesley Green b 1817 and his wife Elizabeth Jane Lyon b 1823. They were both born in Hawkins County,TN. The family lived in Pope County,IL. John's parents were Benjamin Green b 1798 KY d 1877 and Susannah Bellamy b 1800 VA d 1865. They are both buried in Pope County, IL. Benjamin & Susannah had 11 children. Susannah's parents were James Bellomy(notice the spelling change) b 1770 & Nancy Pace b 1774. Bothe were b in Louisa County, VA. James & nancy had 10 children.Nancy's parents were William Pace b 1745 Goochland Cnty,VA and Mary -?-. There is a lot of info on these people in Scott County, VA(right across the state line from Hawkins County,VA). I have a list of children of these large families.
