Hi Brian, Thanks for the info. After checking out the sites you mentioned, I agree that my info on William Green3's military designation is incorrect. Back to the drawing board to find exactly where he fits in with Washington's Army. However, despite my error for my William3, Dawn, in her original message, still had info on two separate William Green families. I think her William (minus Phebe) coincides with your info. Your PS regarding incorrect DAR info is right on target. I have read posts from other researchers pointing out numerous errors in the DAR & SAR applications. Perhaps that's why some researchers become so incensed when you question possible mistakes in their info.
