    2. In a message dated 98-09-22 17:22:03 EDT, you write: << I am a descendant of the Lewis Green line which starts with Lewis married to an Elizabeth ? (Some say it is Lauderdale??? but I have not seen the documentation for this). This Lewis and Elizabeth had several children which I do have their names at home (I'm at work now). One of their children is my ancestor, Lewis Green married to Esther Kilgore. Lewis was in the Revolution and died on the road to Tennessee with his daughter, Sarah Payne. My line goes on from Lewis. My maiden name was Green. >> Hi Carla, I have a little info on your Lewis A. Green, born 1710 in Prince George County, VIrginia, died August 6, 1785 in Washington County, Virginia. He served in the French and Indian War with Capt. Robert McKenzie's compnay from Dinwiddle County, Virginia. I show that he married Elizabeth "Sarah" Lauderdale born about 1730, and died after 1785 in Davidson County, Tennessee. Their son, Lewis Green born May 5, 1751, died June 10, 1853 in Kentucky. He married Ester Kilgore, but that is all I have on your line. I have not been able to connect your Lewis Green with the line I have been attempting to connect to my William Green. If he connects, it is probably through a brother of Lewis Green born about 1640, who lived in Prince George County, Virginia. This Lewis Green had at least one brother named Edward Green born about 1700, but I have not been able to identify a Lewis Green in that family. I hope this helps in some way. Tom Green
