Riggsby's book "Georgia Families", p. 34 gives: Mary Sledge Greene (1824-1881) m 1 Dec 1840 Allison Nelson (1823-1862) William Augustine Greene (1835-1856 not 1859) m 1853 Louisa Susan Pitman Mary Frances Goodwin, wife of Clement Comer Clay Green, was of Decatur, GA & her parents were Lewis Goodwin, son of Lewis b. 1766, and Elizabeth McNeill. I am no kin but have collected Greens in desperation of finding parents of my ancestor, Joseph Green who died 1771/2 in old Tryon Co, NC (will now filed in Lincoln Co, NC). Margaret Green
