I'm interested in parents and siblings of Caleb and Mary Oaks Green(e), both from CT. Caleb was born in 1792 and died July 13, 1840 in Cherry Valley, OH. Mary died in LaSalle City, IL at age 88. They had 12 children: William O., b. 1816 in Bridgetown, Oneida County, NY., m. Jane Krum 1838, and d. April 4, 1896 in West Andover, OH ; Perry, b. April 15, 1827 in Monroe County, NY, m. Marie Clark, and d. 189, buried Cherry Valley, OH; Lois Green Clark of Ottawa, IL; Marilla Green Gay; Eveline L. Chapman; Leander Green; Dewitt Green of Wyoming; Allen J. Green, d. 1847 in Indiana (1 child with Emma Cleveland Green); Mary Ann Green Brower or Brown; A. N. Green m. Rebecca Mather or Mathews; H. S. Green maybe m. Sarah J. Wood and Charles D. Green d. in La Honda, CA (had been in Mexican War). My line is from William O. and Jane Krum Greene's son, Jay who married, then left Malinda Tisch after having 4 sons who lived into adulthood and other babies who didn't survive. Jay's brother William Marcellus Greene married Urilla Tisch, Malinda's sister. Brother Albert Greene married Alice Sweet and lived in Norwalk, OH when his father made out his will in the 1890's. Does anyone know if Albert and Alice had children? Their sister Sarah O. married Algernon Kingsley. She died in 1921 and he in 1925. They are buried in West Andover, OH Cemetery near other Kingsleys, but I do not know if they had children. Another sister Victoria married J. C. Williams in 1863 and they had a daughter Josephine Winch. Also listed in Wm. O.'s will were 3 grandchildren: Ruthie, Krum, and Corral Dockery. There are other Green(e)s in the Cherry Valley, West Andover, and Hickock Cemeteries, but I don't know the connections. If anyone is interested, I'll post the names and dates I could read. Thanks.
