In a message dated 98-09-07 10:52:52 EDT, you write: << believe that is what I said but guess it didn't get to Green-L. Above info from CD #15 I rather thought that Lewis Green was son of Peter Green b. ca 1600 was in VA by 1639. Boddie had said he had a son Lewis Green and others have said no but Peter and Lewis names run through out these two lines, and not Edward but there was a Thomas Green listed on records same time as Peter Green. Louise >> Hi Louise, We are on the same page, just looking at the info differently. I show that Peter Green who died in 1745, was the brother of Lewis Green, Jr. Both were brothers of the youngest sibling, William Green, who died in 1749. The children and grandchildren of this William Green are the ones we see pop up in the late 1700's. I keep attempting to connect this family to the Thomas "Seagull" Green line, since Lewis Green is mentioned in that line several times. Did you see the message from David Green, where he believed that Susannah Green was the daughter of Lewis Green, Sr. not Lewis Green, Jr. as I posted? David has done a lot more research that I on this family, so I trust his opinion over mine. I was just looking at the dates to estimate that she was a daughter of Lewis Green, Jr.
