Found some info on George Green. George Green was born in MD. or Va., between 1736 and 1760 and died in 1823 in Jackson Co. Ala. He married Judith Spillman in 1776. Judith was born in 1761 in Albemarle Co. Va. and died 18 March 1846 at Nashville Tenn. at the age of 85. She had been a member of the Methodist Church for 70 years. They reportedly had sixteen children. The known children were: Edward, born 1787 N.C., Marie born 1793, married ---Prentice. L.W. born 1804, Alexander Little Page born 6 June 1806, Sevier Co. Tenn. When george's children were quite young he removed from Sevier Co. to Rhea County, Tn. and after a few years residence, settled in the Honeycomb Valley of Jackson County, Ala. where he remained until his death in 1823.
