I just joined the list yesterday and am hoping to find the family of Lucucitha (Green) Mattingly Riggs. Lucucitha was born abt 1814 perhaps in Marion County, KY. I found recently that she was adopted by Richard Charles MATTINGLY (the line I had been trying to find her through), but was born to Mortimer GREEN. I have her mother listed as Lucinda. I am trying to find her birth parents, info about them, and maybe other family. I have heard that they maybe were among the Maryland Catholics that migrated to KY. I would appreciate any help on this that you could give me.
