Mary Ann Green 1767 - Aft. 1850 in Gwinnett Co., Georgia +Isaac Horton 1763 - 1854 The way I see it, the 1790 census shows Meshack¹s first wife and early children -- this schematic matches if ³Francy² is female and Thomas is just old enough to be listed in the ³over 16² column. The 1800 census shows Meshack¹s younger second wife and John and James Moses (born in the first half of the year) in the males under ten, and most likely John Green Sr. in the 10-16 column at only 14 yrs old. Either there is a missing girl and Francy is gone or she is exatly ten years old and still included in the under ten class. Probably the latter. The 1810 census is problematic. Francy is nearly twenty and well married, and there is a new daughter not yet identified. (A Sarah b. 1805 has been proposed). The two ten to 16 males are John and James Moses. The problem is, there is only ONE male under ten in the census. Pick your choice-- only one of George, Meshack and William belongs with this group. The other two of the three are definite possibilities for sons of Meshack¹s sons from the first family if there are any openings -- good luck. Another possiblity is that this 1810 census is the wrong man and that is the reason for the disparity. Any opinions out there?
