Genealogy isn't for people with short fuses! In our current society of " instant " solutions to every situation, and the " me first "attitude, I would suggest that those who have no tolerance for patience, and perserverence, should find another hobby. I've been "digging" for almost 30 years, and although it gets frustrating at times, it's so rewarding when you finally make a connection ! I've been on this list for more than a year, and have yet to find my line, but I enjoy, and appreciate, the exchange of information , and would not change a thing. ---------- > > With complete respect for your opinion I would say "careful Bill, you might > be speaking only for yourself" :) > > I wouldn't change a single way that this list and people communicate and > function! > > Hope everyone has a nice Holiday Weekend > > With warmest regards from San Diego, > > "Ed" MI > Jefferson Co., IL > San Diego, CA > > Ed & Betty Greene 3538 Elsinore Place San Diego, CA > 92117-4509 > Phone & Fax 619-274-3720 edgreene@san.rr.com > =========================================================================== > Paternal Surnames: Anderson (SC>IL), Burdette (MD), Getty (IRE), Green > (MD>IL), Lively (SC>IL), Parker (SC), Porter (SC), Teter (VA>IL), > Maternal Surnames: Beer (PA>OH), Crow (PA>OH), Deffenbaugh (PA>OH), Derr > (PA), Maley (PA), Shank (PA>OH>MI>MN), > =========================================================================== > FTM Homepage: > http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/g/r/e/D-E-Greene/index.html > Member & FTM group leader:Computer Gen Soc.of San Diego: www.cgssd.org > ===================================================================== > > -----Original Message----- > From: William T.
