I sincerely and humbly apologize to you all. I have read all that has come back, and stand chastised. The "short-fuse" comment for Friday was appropriate. It was not my intent to be mean-spirited, though my terse comments made it seem so. This forum is an extremely valuable tool to post Green family information, general information, thoughts and queries. I recognize that most of it doesn't apply to my own line. I have saved probably 25% of what I've received via GREEN-L. Some may apply, some bears further study. Some are the gemstones in the nuggets one needs. I never meant to to try suppress this wonderful interchange. I do appreciate all the hard work that people have done researching Green ancestors. I ,too, have holes in my ancestery that I'm trying to fill. I should have phrased that question in terms of "common sense." Should we not use the criterion of "Does this need to go to everyone, or just to the person who posted it?" Again, my apologies to those I may have offended. Bill
