To the folks on this list... I also was left off 'The Poll'. I have found amazing information and ideas of new places to search from listings that some may had considered 'spam'. Not Everyone has the historical knowledge of the periods of research to realize changes in All areas of state divisions or of the wars and battles that took place and be able to shift their research to those locations accordingly. I'm also wading through alot of listS and their postings for new clues, suggestions, and resources for my research....I never know when a date, a name, or a county/state line change may lead me to a piece of my puzzle or another researcher with that same family. Some of the lovely names I'm hunting include; GREEN,Richard (La/?Md pre1800); JOHNSON, John (Ala 1800/Miss 1840);KELLEY (SC pre-1800/Ill after 1840); BROWN, Alexander and Sylvenus (Tx.1835); JONES,Nancy and Mary (Va pre1800); SMITH, Sarah (Ill. 1860?) I'm beginning to understand why so many 'Unsubscribe' to these lists, now... Carolyn R. Green
