Hi Group, While reviewing my copies of the "Compendium of First American Families," I noticed another Lewis Green on page 428 of Volume 5. In 1668, Capt. Henry Batte patented 5,878 acres of land in Charles City County, Virginia south of the Appomattocx River. His daughter, Rachel Batte inherited much of this land and 1720 married James Parham, who was the son of Ephraim Parham, who died in 1726, and had married Frances Green in 1655. Frances Green was the daughter of Lewis Green, who was the son of Matthew Green, who was the son of James Green. Can anyone provide additional info on this Green family? Tom Green
