Great idea! I'm looking for descendents of Gen. Nathaniel Greene from RI and GA. I'm currently looking for family members along the NY/PA border. Several members of the Green(e) family lived in Vestal Center, NY. Family members also lived in Brooklyn and Bridgewater, PA. >From the 1855 Vestal, NY census: Allen was age 30 or 38 & Mary was age 30. They had two sons, Edgar, age 3, and Arson, 4 months. Edgar Green(e) (1851-1919) married Ella E. VanAuken (1855-1918) in 1871 in Vestal, NY. One of their children was Mary Greene (1881-2/12/1935) who married Albert Clark(e) (1881-1970) on 3/18 ca. 1908 in Maine, NY. According to the 1865 Vestal, NY census, Edgar was living with Jefferson and Mary C. Green. Jefferson was listed as being a landowner and farmer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Deb
