The Lewis Green who married Elizabeth Caddell was the son of William Green, Jr. born about 1720, who was the son of William Green, Sr. born about 1700 and died December 10, 1749. William Green, Sr. was the 9th son of Lewis Green born about 1639. I realize these dates seem a little hard to believe, and don't have any proof of them. Burwell Green, born April 12, 1765, that married Phoebe Caddell, was the half brother of the above Lewis Green, and the son of Lucy Tyus, the second wife of William Green, Jr. Lucy Tyus, born about 1734, was the daughter of John Tyus and Ann "Agnes" Branch.
