Forrest, Thanks for your support. I steem from James F. Green's line. He was the brother of Nathan which made the trip over the mountain in 1813. As you can imagine my excitement to find such a prestigious ancestry. I got started in this research using an old will from William Wood. He spoke of his son-n-law Thomas, who married his daughter Nancy, and their children. I, for over a year now, have been striving to find the name of Thomas' Father. I am sure it will turn up one day.
