For Garland Horton, I am posting this back to the list in hopes someone might see it and be able to help both of us. Anyone reading postings to this list knows I have been tracking a gr grandfather Nathaniel/Nathan GREEN for some time, with out much luck.Nathan came from Virginia and landed in Indiana in 1857. Perhaps lived in KY in between. The only Nathan Green I found in the 1850 census, that was about the right age, was living in Ballard County, Kentucky, with a wife named Elizabeth and a son named Thomas, 6 years old. A Thomas born on the date you gave would still be 6 when the 1850 census was taken. (Nathan & Eliz. both born VA, Thomas born KY.) This is one possibility, I didn't find any of them in KY in 1860. Please let me know if you find Thomas' father was named Nathan? Harold Wayne Green
