John Green of Prince George Co., VA (child of which m. ?) 1755 Orange Co., NC tax list - John Green (1-0) 1755 Granville Co., NC tax list included the following: Joseph Green (1-1-2) Thomas Green (1-1-2) Peter Green (1-1-2) John Green (1-0-1) Abraham Green (2-02) & son John Burwell Green (that m. 4 Jul 1789 Phoeby Green) had a daughter Jane Green that m. ca 1815 William Riley Caddell. 1800 - Susan Green m.Andrew Henderson Caddel Green family of Surry-Sussex-Greenville Cos., VA were "up river" from Lewis Tyus Adams Lewis Tyus Adams had a brother, Green W. Adams that lived across the river in Benton-Calhoun, AL per Jerry Jones (jbjones1@hooper.net) The Hudgins were of Surry/Sussex Cos., VA. Intermarriage with the LEWIS surname and also the BURWELL (Burrell) surname. The Burrell surname goes back to Jamestown settlement. Later Thomas Hudgins lived in Person Co., NC in the late 1700s. Thomas died on his plantation in Sussex Co., VA. Thomas had sons Burrell & Carter Hudgins. The Burwells were of Gloucester Co., VA, Mecklenburgh Co., VA, New Kent Co., VA and James City Co., VA.
