Does anyone have a woman with the maiden name of Humphrey who married a Green before 1839? They had a daughter named Mary Elizabeth b 25 Dec 1839, possibly in Greenville, Greene Co., TN. They also had a son named Joseph. The parents died of yellow fever before 1850, I believe around 1841, as there was an epidemic then. The reason I think the mother's maiden name may be Humphrey is because Mary was living with a 'close relative', Elizabeth Humphrey, in the 1850 census of Carroll Co., TN.
