First my thanks to RGreen for supplying that very interesting account of the Green/Jones Feud and also the naming tradition. I'm now searching for info about William W. Green, born in Ky about 1806 moved to White Co. Tn near Sparta where he married a Menifee. His children were Joseph Alexander, William Van Buren, Sarah, Cynthia, and Willis George all born in Tn.
