I would appreciate any information concerning my family history. My grandfather, Dr. John Thompson Green (later changed to Greene) was a practicing physician in the town of Elloree, SC, for more than 60 years until his death in 1973. He lived in Bishopville, SC, as a boy, and his ancestors supposedly landed at Georgetown, SC, in the early 18th century. Ralph Green, a relative (now deceased), had been active in compiling a family history during the 1960's and 1970's. He lived in Columbia, SC. My father's cousin, Francis Green, resides in Bishopville, SC.
