That's where I found that Green/Greene notation. That was all there was but in another part or book there was a section on Greens. I'll take a look at that. The book is the Genealogical Dictionary of New England Settlers Volume 2 page 307 Here's what it had to say. If you or anyone wants me to look up specific Greens/Greenes (male) from a specific place, let me know. Rebecca, d. of Joseph Hills, had Rebecca, b. 1654; Thomas, Feb. 1656; Hannah, 16 Oct. 1658, d. soon; Hannah, again, 24 Feb. 1660; and Samuel, 5 Oct. 1670; was prob. the freem. of 1671.
