Born August 3, 1764 in Warren County North Carolina and died 1819 in Greene County, Georgia. He married Ruth Hunter ,b September 24,1764 in Wilkes County North Carolina and d. May 15, 1826 in Greene County, Georgia. They had Lemuel, Alston Hunter, Nancy, Nathaniel, William, and Augustine. Father was George William Greene, b.1734 in Virginia and d. 1806 in Wilks County Georgia. Both father and son fought in the Revolution. It is a tradition in our family that both are cousins of General Nathaniel Greene. I have not been able to establish connection. Thanks Richard Greene
