KEZZIAH GREEN probably born about 1750 or before. This FRANCIS W. GREEN is FRANCIS WIATT GREEN. Mell >> Hi Mell, Thanks for posting the above info! I had not seen this deed. For those who are not that familuar with these Greens, William Green married his cousin Elizabeth "Betsy" Green, the daughter of Duff Green. His brother, Francis Wyatt Green, born about 1784, married Lucy Strother. Francis and William Green were the sons of Col. William Green, born about 1727, who married Ann Coleman. Col. William Green was the son of Robert Green, born 1695, who married Eleanor Dunn. William Duff was the uncle of Robert Green and the brother of his mother Eleanor Duff. I did find some new info on the Duff family stating that William Duff had a brother named James Duff, born 1716, who married Mildred Tutt of Culpeper County, Va in 1738. They had a son named John Duff, born 1739, who married Sarah Nash. They had a son named James Duff, born April 15, 1761, who married Elizabeth Strother, born July 20, 1773. This info is on page 69 of Volume 4 of "Some Prominent Virginia Families" by Louise Pecquet du Bellet. I am not familiar with the Kezziah Green you mention as the daughter of Richard Green, who married William Boon. Do you have additional info on this family? I am attempting to identify the parents of my William Green, born Febraury 6, 1762 in Prince Edward County, Virginia who married Kezziah Patton in Hillsborough, Orange County, North Carolina January 9, 1781. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Tom Green
