Hi I am new to this list and am researching the Green Family from Alabama. My step grandfather, Bishop Green was born in Jackson Co, AL in 1911. His parents were John Richard Green and Louticia Jane Maynor. John was born in AL but Louticia was born in TN. Both were born in October of 1868. Johns parents were Rufus Freeland Green and Margaret A. Hollis. Both were born in AL, Rufus in September of 1839 and Margaret in November 1844. They had 13 children. Rufus F. Greens parents were Asa Green and Eliza Childress. Asa was born in TN, I have no idea where, lost the family then and have no idea how to find them back in TN. Asa had a total of 4 wives and lots of children. Would love to find a connection and have info to share as well as a picture of Rufus and Margaret. Robin
