Bill, I was in contact with you a good while back but couldn't make a connection with your Burrell and Lewis that married Caddell sisters. Recently I was told that Lewis married prior to marrying Elizabeth Caddell. I am trying to tie back to this Lewis. My Lewis was b. 1801 or around that time. It is said he was from NC, SC or GA. Not much help. The first real information I have is in Ware Co., GA where he married Martha Elizabeth Taylor, dau. of Hezekiah, son of Henry, RS. He adopted sons, of his brother, Leander and William T. and had 13 children of his own. It is said he married Elizabeth Pridgen in 1825 in Bulloch Co., GA. I can find no death certificate for Elizabeth or children or anything in Bulloch only a record of a marriage. There is an Eilsha, John and William in Bulloch along w/ Lewis in the same 1825 time frame. Lewis lived in Ware, Clinch and Lowndes Cos. , GA. before moving to Hamilton Co,, Fl. The mother of Leander and William T. is Delilah. I think the father of Daniel as she is mentioned in the 1850 census as widow of Daniel. Some one mention wanting to know about the Burrell that married Lewis Green in VA. I have the name and address Grigg line that I was in contact with at the time I thought I was in this family if anyone is interested. Selma
