I was born in Caldwell ID and have traced my Green (with & without the final "e", sometimes found both ways in the same family) side back through ID, ND, MN, and NY. My father, g & gg fathers were all Allen Green(e)s. My ggg-father Nelson Rodney Green, born 25 July 1820 in NY, died in Hutchinson MN 23 Jun 1896. Family legend says his father was also Nelson, living in northern NY(Lewis, Jefferson, St Lawrence counties), heading west in 1860's. I am searching for info on his parents.
