A suggestion for those new to doing their hunting on the web....whenever you're seeking information about a place, such as the Jersey Settlement, or event, try simply typing its name into your favorite search engine (such as Google.com) to see what pops up. I got about 100 hits searching for "The Jersey Settlement" (did an advanced search to eliminate "New Jersey"). Try more than one search engine to find as much as possible.
